Since completing my PhD, my research has mainly focused on the study of acquired and developmental language disorders, from a cross-language perspective in Basque, French and Spanish, and other languages described in the litterature. My approach is experimental (development and adaptation of language assessment tools) and behavioral (assessment of children and adults, with and without language disorders, multilingual or monolingual).

The main aims of my research are :

1) to define the nature of verb inflection deficits that characterize both agrammatic aphasia and developmental language disorders;

2) to take part in neuroscience research development by enriching the current database on language disorder manifestations, which is currently  limited to the study of genetically close languages;

3) to provide SLTs working in multilingual settings or in minority languages with reliable tools.
